      Hello Brittany,
The tradition of the wise woman teaches to nourish, not to cleanse.
Cleansing forces change and can be harmful. This method of healing is employed
by "heroes" who use fear to gather "patients".
Nourishing the kidneys and with stinging nettle, rose hips, and borage with bring long lasting vitality.
It really is okay to have bursts of energy. You may wish to go deeper to discover more about that.
      Peace, Julie

Dandelion leaves, Parsley and Juniper Berries are good for kidneys, Licorice for adrenals - even in an emergency, you can chew on that, it really helps a friend of mine!

Thank you so much everyone, I am going to get a friend to take me to collect some nettle and dry it for tea. I'll have to go to a herb shop for the rest and the grocery store for some things I can get fresh.

If you're new to gathering nettles wear thick gloves

I don't think bursts of energy = adrenal problems. Usually that can be more of a chemical imbalance thing.

            Hi Brittany,
In most places around, it is too late to collect nettle.....nettle is traditonally harvested in spring before it flowers.
I have found that nettle has helped me more than any other plant to sustain my health and well being.
            She is trully amazing.
            Peace, Julie
